这几天在看Weeds，中文译作《单身毒妈》，讲的是一个单身母亲Nancy在丈夫心脏病猝死后，
为了维持自己富人的生活方式变成了一个毒犯卖大麻，其实和Desperate Housewives很像，
这个LA富人区Agrestic和DH的紫藤巷（Wisteria Lane）都是那种外表光鲜，人人却心怀鬼胎的社区。
最搞的是Nancy开始与另外一个单身父母Peter约会，上了床之后才发现Peter是个缉毒警察…

从篇幅上来看，Weeds大概30分钟一集，10集左右一个season，
相当喜欢Weeds的主题曲Little Box：

按照这篇网志的说法，这首歌批判了
“由遍布市郊的“用廉价材料造的房子”所象征的整齐划一、用户至上主义和政治冷漠。”
其实我听的时候觉得它讲的是一个可悲的educate/cultivate的过程，
有点像没有“灵韵（aura）”的机械复制。
